Newark High school had a spectacular night on October 1st, 2024. The NHS open house showcased their Visual and Preforming Arts department and the NHS Cheerleading team. All participants did a spectacular job demonstrating their respective talents for the Choice Open House. The evening event showcased the programs at Newark High School, allowing parents and prospective students to become better acquainted with school facilities, faculty, and educational offerings. Basically, all the best that Newark has to offer. This reporter was fortunate to speak with several staff who were present for the evening.
In an interview during the event, Mr. Collins, one of Newark’s three Assistant Principals, said, ” I thought the open house was very good. I particularly liked how the students were really involved.” He added that he thought the school “did an outstanding job of hosting and also an outstanding job of showing some of the programs that we offer at Newark high school.”
