Ava Smoak is a senior at Newark High School and the features editor for The Buzz. She participates in a variety of clubs, including the National Honor Society (NHS), Technology Student Association (TSA), Yellow Jacket Senate, Yearbook, Academy of Creative Expression (ACE), Varsity Tennis, and Girl Scouts. In her free time, she likes to read, take photos, as well as watch sports. After high school, she hopes to major in either journalism or advertising, with the goal of working in the sports media field.
