On March 30th and 31st, Newark High School TSA took on the State Leadership Conference, competing in a number of events. The chapter had competitors in Photography, Problem Solving, Fashion Design, and so much more! Although the competitions didn’t all turn out as expected, Newark still managed to pull out some wins. First being junior Negla Ibrahim, who achieved a second place win in the Promotional Design competition, which mixes graphic design and marketing for an assigned theme. The other success for Newark was the second place win for the Robotics team, seniors Ryan Bachman and Deniz Eastman, who were competing in a highly competitive event that required the teams to put a lot of time into their robot. Newark High School is so proud of these wins along with all of the students who put time and effort into their respective competitions. The Newark chapter of TSA looks forward to doing it all again next school year!
